1. What first sparked your interest in your major? was there a specific moment, class, or person that inspired you?
My interest in nursing started from my mom who first introduced me to it. As I took a nursing class in high school I started to enjoy it a bit more and now it's the only major I see myself doing.
2. Why did you specifically choose your college to study this major?
I chose The College of New Jersey for Nursing because I've had great reviews of their nursing program, I have a lot of familiarity with the college, and I also get to stay really close to home.
3. What do you hope to do with your degree in the future? What kind of impact do you want to make?
I hope to help mothers in every possible way I can as a maternity nurse through the skills I acquire from my education as it is one of the most important parts of their life. I want to make a positive impact by providing great care to mothers and their newborns as a source of strength and encouragement for them.
4. What advice would you give to someone just starting their college application?
I would advice those just starting their college applications to start early, do lots of research on the tuition, and ask those you feel know more about the college a lot of questions so you know what you are getting into.
